The Energy Innovation Conference is on March 5 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the West Building.

Lake Land is going…going…going… green!  This Mar. 5 Lake Land College, a leader in green innovation, is hosting its annual Energy Innovation Conference. There is something in it for everyone, so that everyone can be involved in the innovative fun. The conference is open to the public from 8 A.M. to 4 P.M. They will be offering an array of events to choose from. These include numerous speakers and workshops along with an energy fair to encourage middle and high school students to think outside the box and to be true entrepreneurial thinkers in the area of alternative and renewable energy sources and practices for our future. The key note speaker is actor, director and environmentalist Ed Begley Jr. Begley sets the gold standard for sustainable living and energy efficiency advocacy. He is also one of the hottest speakers on eco-living in America and has been practicing sustainable living for over 42 years. His theme, Live Simply So That Others Can Simply Live, has been received by standing ovations at over 200 events in just the last four years.  For more info or details about each speech/workshop you can go to ewnergyconf.org
