Lake Land College to host Summer College for Youth classes

School is letting out soon. What are your kids doing this summer? Make sure they beat the heat with some educational fun at Lake Land College’s Summer College for Youth.

The Lake Land College Office of Community and Professional Programs will host Summer College for Youth again this summer. Classes include pottery, percussion, computers and more! Classes are open to students age 17 and under.

This year many classes are blocked off to offer a full- or half-day of activities for the convenience to parents and an experience for the child.  If you choose a full day of classes for your child, their lunch hour will be supervised at the relaxation station, where children can bring a sack lunch. New programs this year include BlackRocket-Launch Your Creativity offering Lego Games, Minecraft, game app classes and more! Or, unlock your child’s potential with Camp Invention!

Registration is already underway, but it’s not too late to sign up your child! There are different ways to register a child for a Summer College for Youth class. To register, visit www.lakelandcollege.edu/collegeforyouth or call 217-234-5434. If paying online, payment by Visa, MasterCard or Discover is required.

Class and registration information is also available in the “Full Circle” magazine issued to each household within the Lake Land College district. The magazine was delivered April 4.
